Dana Library Study Rooms and Pods
The Dana Library has five group study rooms and two privacy pods available to currently enrolled UVM students, faculty, and staff and UVMMC employees. The privacy pods have a shelf, chair, and power. The two small rooms (120C and 120D) are equipped with whiteboards, power, and Ethernet connections. Three rooms (120E, 120F & 105) also have wall-mounted monitors suitable for connecting a laptop.
- Pods A & B keys may only be checked out by a single user only.
- Rooms C, D & E keys may be checked out by a single, (or multiple) users.
- Rooms F & Dana Main Conference Room 105 require a minimum of two individuals present to check out a room key. Both users must provide a valid UVM ID or barcoded UVMMC badge.
- Rooms & Pods may be reserved on the spot or booked up to 2 weeks in advance.
- Reservations are limited to 2 hours total per group per day. Same day reservations may only be made after the first reservation has expired.
- Multiple reservations by the same individual or group on the same day will be canceled.
- Users may renew the space they are using if there is not an upcoming reservation and the space is available.
- Renewals must be done at the Main Desk with the key in hand.
- An individual or group that is more than 15 minutes late forfeits the reservation.
- Please report any broken or missing equipment immediately.
Note that the time blocks shown below are in half-hour increments. To reserve your full two hours, you will need to select four consecutive time blocks.
A reminder: these rooms are NOT soundproof and voices carry even with the door closed. Please keep your voices as low as possible.
