Random Chats about Data - Statistical Output

Random Chats about Data - Statistical Output In-Person

Become a data analysis expert for your research. Learn tools and strategies that make your data workflow more efficient and fun. Bring a lunch and drop in to learn about Statistical Output - a discussion about interpretation of p-values, test statistics, confidence intervals and parameter estimates.

Random Chats about Data workshops are intended for researchers and students at any point in their career. We will get together and talk about best practices for data analysis, because real life data are messy and complicated and because statistics terminology can be confusing and obscure. So let's clarify some of these concepts and figure out how best to deal with the not quite so straightforward aspects of research data analysis.
