Random Chats about Data - Summer Lunch Sessions

Random Chats about Data - Summer Lunch Sessions In-Person

Become a data analysis expert for your research over the Summer. Learn tools and strategies that make your data workflow more efficient and fun. Bring a lunch and drop in to learn about any or all of the following topics:

  • Data collection
  • Data organization
  • Choosing a good model
  • Interpretation of model output
  • Data visualization

Random Chats about Data workshops are intended for researchers and students at any point in their career. We will get together and talk about best practices for data analysis, because real life data are messy and complicated and because statistics terminology can be confusing and obscure. So let's clarify some of these concepts and figure out how best to deal with the not quite so straightforward aspects of research data analysis.
